Our friend Marsi recently took over our Instagram and answered some of our followers' questions when it comes to wedding day beauty! If you're in need of wedding beauty tips keep reading!

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO TO PREPARE FOR A TRIAL?

Marsi advises bringing in wedding inspiration photos for both your hair and makeup. Be sure to discuss what you love about those images in as much detail as possible to your artist, so they understand the vision you want to bring to life.

SELF-PREP BEFORE THE TRIAL & WEDDING?

Try to come prepared as you would be for the wedding, such as if you're going to do any tanning. Two weeks before the wedding, avoid trying out any new skin treatment or new waxing. “You just want to be in maintenance mode.”

HOW DO YOU PICK THE RIGHT LOOK FOR YOU?

Brite Beauty's goal is for you to look like you, “just brightened up.”

"if you’re a full glam girl on the day-to-day, go for it. If you’re more natural, then we just want to bring your natural beauty to life...You want the beauty to match the aesthetic."

When it comes to your wedding hairstyle be sure to consider the vibe of your wedding and the style of your dress. For example, a classic, elegant type bride should lean more towards an elegant type of hairstyle. And a boho aesthetic can lean more towards a loose, and free look.

TIPS FOR MOTHER OF THE BRIDE?

Be sure to have an in-depth makeup consultation with the moms too! Your artists will definitely want them to feel comfortable with their makeup so the key is communication!

TIPS FOR OUTDOOR WEDDINGS?

When planning your wedding makeup and hair look you definitely want to take the weather into consideration, especially if you will have an outdoor wedding. To combat humidity, a makeup airbrush will really help you out! It sets well and is long-wearing with a lightweight finish. When it comes to hair, be sure to use a humidity-resistant hairspray to set your hairstyle.

Also, keep in mind what your hair is prone to do. If you know your hair doesn’t hold a curl and your wedding is outside, Marsi does not advise wearing a curled downdo look, unless you’re fine with your hair falling into loose waves (which is beautiful too!).

WHAT ABOUT SPF? WHEN? WHERE? HOW?

Your makeup artist will carry moisturizer and will prep you for makeup application. Be sure to talk with your artist to see and let them decide what’s best when it comes to SPF on the day of your wedding. Marsi advises wearing SPF every day of your life, except maybe on your wedding day. Depending on the SPF you can get flashback in photos
