When to Ship
You have agreed to overnight ship your flowers the Monday following your event to ensure we receive them while they're still fresh. Please note, all flower shipments must be made no later than the Thursday following the event date, as we are closed over the weekend, and no one will be able to receive your flowers.
If this is a last-minute booking, please ship as soon as possible.
If your event falls on a holiday weekend, please ship your flowers the Tuesday following your event. Our office observes the following holidays and will be closed: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day. Please ensure your flowers don't arrive on a holiday, as no one will be in our offices to receive them.
All packages must be received within the week following your event. Please see our terms and conditions to see our shipping policy terms and penalties.
Save Money on Shipping With Pirate Ship
Please consider using Pirate Ship for a way to purchase a pre-printed label with up to 89% savings. More details below under the shipping section.
For Pieces 12 x 12 and Larger
If your piece is 12x12 or larger, we recommend sending similar flowers from centerpieces or other displays as well since the flowers from your bouquet will be the most damaged after being without water throughout your wedding day.
Don't Use Brown Paper or Bubble Wrap
Don't use brown paper or bubble wrap to cushion flowers when packaging. This will suffocate your flowers. Exposed flowers are fine. We just want to make sure they do not shift to much in transit.
Ship Flowers Upright
Please ship flowers in an upright position. If flowers are NOT upright, this can damage the flowers that have been laid on. See video below for visual instructions.
Include Shipping Form
You must include this shipping form in your package. It helps us keep track of everything you're sending. Don't include items/flowers you don't want included in your final design.

FLOWER CARE
Before Shipping
For best results, keep your flowers in water while waiting to ship.
- Cut the stems (about ½ an inch) at an angle, and place your bouquet in fresh water. Be careful not to drown your stems.
- Change water daily and add flower food.
- Keep your flowers in a cool location. If possible, place them in your fridge as long as it is set to a temperature that won't freeze them.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Materials
- Large box (we recommend a 12 x 12 x 12 box or the next size up)
- Small box
- Plastic bags and/or saran wrap
- Rubber bands
- 2-3 rolls of paper towels
- Plastic cup
- Tape
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Package Your Flowers
- Gather required materials. Your box should have ample space but sending a huge box is not necessary. We recommend 12 x 12 x 12 or the next size up.
- Box your bouquet in an upright position. The best thing to protect the petals through the shipping process is to make sure your flowers aren't squished in the box.
- To protect your flowers from bruising, wrap your blossoms with dry paper towels or tissue paper. Wrap them gently and loosely. DON'T use brown paper or bubble wrap to cushion flowers. Exposed flowers are fine. We just want to make sure they don't shift too much in transit.
- Use bunched up paper towels to fill up spaces. When you add paper towels, do so lightly. Your flowers should have room to move a little, we just don’t want them to be knocked around the box during transit. Loose paper towels, sheets only not whole roll, please.
- Mark all items included in your package on this bridal shipment form. It is very important, as it helps us keep track of everything you're sending. Don't include items in your package that you don't want in your final design.
If your piece is 12 x 12 or larger, we recommend sending similar flowers from centerpieces or other displays as well since the flowers from your bouquet will be the most damaged after being without water throughout your wedding day.

How to Package Additional Items
Boutonnieres, corsages, ribbons, charms, and more.
Bare Stemmed Bouquet
- Trim the stems then tie them together with a rubber band.
- Wrap the STEMS ONLY in wet paper towels.
- Place the stems into a bag or wrap them in saran wrap. Secure the bag in place with a rubber band. This will lock in moisture, prevent leaking, and will ensure that your flowers will have enough water to drink.
- Place flowers in plastic cup upright. If flowers are not upright this can damage the flowers that have been laid on.
Bouquet in a Plastic Holder (With Foam)
- Check your foam. If the foam is drying out add water carefully. Pour out any excess.
- Add a few layers of paper towels to the bottom of the box in case leaking occurs.
- Never place the foam directly in the box. Place the foam in a container or plastic bag to prevent leaking.
Boutonnieres and Corsages
Not all boutonnieres have exposed stems. If you aren't able to remove some of the floral tape to expose the stems, simply include similar flowers so we can recreate your boutonniere in case it wilts faster. If you are able to expose the stems, continue with the instructions below:
- Wrap stems in wet paper towels.
- Place the stems into a small bag or wrap them in saran wrap and secure it in place with a rubber band.
- Place the boutonniere in a lightweight cup. Disposable cups work great!
- Secure the top of the cup with a paper towel. Secure it in place with a rubber band.
- Place the cup in a corner of the box. Cushion its surroundings with paper towels to prevent movement.
Do not enclose your items in a plastic container as this will lock in moisture and speed up the wilting process. Covering your container with a paper towel will secure your items in place and still allow your flowers to breathe.
Ribbons and Charms
Most bouquets are taped and will not fall apart if you remove ribbons. Charms can only be included in double-matted pieces and must be under 1/4" thick. Please do not send these items if you would not like them included.
- Remove and wash your ribbons. Allow them to dry before packing to prevent mold.
- Remove all charms and make sure they are clean.
- Place all items in a plastic bag along with your shipment form.
- Tape the plastic bag to the inside of your box.
Leaving your ribbons on the bouquet may result in moldy or stained ribbons. If not removed, charms may arrive with water stains. If this occurs, we may not be able to use these items in your design.
Invitations and Other Paper Items
To prevent creases and water damage to your paper items, please follow the instructions below:
- Place your invitation into a plastic bag to protect your invitation. Include multiple copies if available.
- Tape the plastic bag to the inside of the box to prevent movement.
Please DO NOT simply toss your invitation in your box. We will not work with damaged items.
Shipping Don'ts
- DON'T wrap plastic or a plastic bag around the blossoms. This will suffocate the flowers and speed up the wilting process.
- DON'T overstuff your box. Including extra flowers is recommended, however, please keep in mind that the heavier your box is, the more it will cost to ship.
- DON'T ship before Monday! Unless your wedding falls on Thursday, it is best for you to keep your flowers over the weekend so you can take care of them. If you send your bouquet before Monday, you risk having them get stuck in a hot warehouse until they can be delivered.
- DON'T require a signature. We do not want your bouquet to be sent back to the warehouse if we are not available to sign.
- DON'T use frozen packs. Frozen packs will thaw and cause your flowers to wilt.
- DON'T use bubble wrap to cushion your flowers. No other plastic should be put into your box besides the baggies your stems are in.
- DON'T send an oversized box or two separate boxes. The bigger the box the more it will cost to overnight it. A 12 x 12 x 12 box (or little larger) is enough. If you are sending more than your bouquet, you can use the next size up.
- DON'T send any items, including flowers, you do not want to be included in your design.
- DON'T use brown paper, plastic bags, or bubble wrap to cushion flowers. This will suffocate the flowers. Exposed flowers are fine. We just want to make sure they do not shift too much in transit.
