general
How far in advance should I book my order?
We strongly recommend that you book as soon as you have your wedding date, as we often book two years ahead.
That being said, we do take last-minute orders, as well as orders for air-dried flowers, recreations, and other non-event related flowers.
Booking now locks in today's pricing, even if prices increase later.
Do you accept last-minute bookings?
Yes, we can accommodate last-minute bookings. For the fastest service, please place your order online anytime or contact us by calling or texting (833) 426-3732 during our office hours, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm CST.
If you are unsure what to book, this $50 deposit for last-minute orders is a great option for you!
Remember to keep your flowers in water and avoid storing them in the fridge or freezer.
What if I reschedule my date?
Please contact us as soon as you know your day will change; as we do require a date to be able to maintain your booking. Rescheduling fees may apply.
Refer to your Terms and Conditions for more information.
I’m out of state (not in Texas). Can you still preserve my bouquet?
Yes! We're based in Dallas, TX, but approximately 50% of our bouquets come from outside Texas, including all 50 states. Please note, however, that shipping from Hawaii and Alaska may incur higher costs due to the need for overnight or two-day shipping.
We recommend checking local post office rates for overnight shipping after your wedding before confirming your booking.
What if I'm local to the Dallas, TX area?
If you're local, we'll arrange a drop-off time for your bouquet. Please remember, our office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so we cannot accept drop-offs on these days. Keep your flowers in water after your wedding until you bring them to us. We look forward to giving you a studio tour and showing you our products in person!
I'm getting married internationally, can you still preserve my bouquet?
Yes, we have experience with international events. Before booking with us, please verify with your airline and customs that you can bring your flowers back into the country. For further inquiries, feel free to contact us via email atinfo@dbandrea.comor by calling or texting (833) 426-3732.
What if my wedding is on a holiday?
We accept bouquets during the weeks of major holidays. There is a $100.00 holiday booking fee for any Federal Holidays that would affect shipping. This is to cover the cost of additional staff due to the high demand of a holiday weekend and out weight the shorter preservation window.
We are CLOSED on the following Major Holidays:
Memorial Day
4th of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Years Day
*Please note, bouquets still need to be shipped overnight. If the holiday is on Monday, you will need to ship your bouquet overnight on Tuesday so we receive it Wednesday morning. No exceptions. Drop-offs will be scheduled for Tuesday.
Do you preserve for other events that are not wedding-related?
Yes! We preserve flowers from any event. Whether it's a baby shower, memorial, or a custom piece, we can work with you to preserve your flowers in a unique, special way! Check our Book Now section to see our offering.
What is the difference between Pressed, Press-3D™ and Floral Blocks?
We offer three main flower preservation options, each with unique features and considerations.
1. Pressed Classic Frames and Pressed Floating Frames both provide excellent longevity and minimal flower color fading over time, with the Classic Frames offering superior humidity and temperature control. Both pressed options are sealed against outside elements like insects and dust. However, while Classic Frames maintain the flower shape consistently, Floating Frames may experience slight shifting.
2. Resin Floral Blocks offer a natural appearance, preserving the flowers in the state they arrive. They are sealed against outside elements but do not offer humidity or temperature control. Over time, the resin may amber, affecting the visual quality.
3. PRESS-3D™ Shadow Boxes present a modern twist with a 3D arrangement in a 4-inch-deep shadow frame. While they provide a beautiful display, they lack humidity and temperature control and are not sealed against outside elements. Flower elements in these open-framed environments may shift and loosen over time.
Overall, each option balances different aspects of preservation, from maintaining flower shape to providing environmental controls, allowing you to choose the best method based on your preferences and the specific characteristics you value most.
*All our pieces are color-restored to their original fresh colors.
I still have my wedding bouquet from years ago. Is there anything you can do with it?
Yes! We are able to do a recreation using elements from your air-dried bouquet! We would essentially recreate your original bouquet and incorporate pieces of your original into the final piece along with professionally dried flowers. After you send us photos of your bouquet (the day of the event & current status) we can jump on a consultation to talk about your vision and the best options for you!
All flowers, including all air-dried, undergo a Flower Restoration ™ process where we color restore all the flowers to match the way they looked when they were fresh.
What does the Flower Restoration™ process consist of?
Our proprietary Flower Beautification™ process combines several techniques that permanently restore flowers to their fresh natural shapes and colors; and we call it Flower Restoration™. Over 200 steps and up to 30 hours are put into this process alone, depending on the project!
We are known for our meticulous craftsmanship and our quality. Check out our unmatched work!
When will my piece be ready?
We estimate a turnaround of 6 months. This varies with wedding seasonality, and any changes to your payments. Whichever way we are preserving your bouquet, we take extra care throughout the process and allow additional time to make sure that the flowers are preserved completely and ready for our artists to use and design your piece.
We appreciate your patience throughout this process and promise it will be worth the wait! We can’t wait for you to see your artwork but we also want to present you with the most beautiful piece possible.
I would love to give this as a gift. How do I do this?
A preserved floral piece would be such a thoughtful gift, one that your loved one will be sure to cherish for years to come. We can walk you through the process issue a gift certificate and have the bride and groom handle all of the details to their liking.
Please call/text us at (833) 426-3732 or email us at info@dbandrea.com
When should I ship my bouquet?
Within 5 days of your event.
If you are getting married on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, you will ship us your flowers the following Monday.
If you are getting married on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, you will ship us your flowers the following day.
Please note, our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday, therefore we are unable to receive shipments/drop-offs.
Please keep your flowers in water following your wedding until you ship/drop-off your flowers to us.
*If your flowers are older than 5 days, we can still work with you and will consider your flowers air-dried! Please call or text us at (833) 426-3732 so we can better assist you.

Our customers' typically spend anywhere from $549.99 to $18,000, but our average order is $2,500.

Can I add a floral block or Press-3D™ piece to my main pressed piece?
Yes! Keep in mind, we need to know before we get your flowers, as the preservation process for this type of art is completely different.
If you are getting more than one piece done, we recommend sending an extra bouquet (table arrangement or bridesmaids bouquet) so we have enough material to fulfill your order.
What is the process like for a floral block?
Our process for resin pieces is very similar to our framed pressed pieces as far as timing. Once we receive your flowers, they are preserved for 2-3 months. Once completely dry, we will reach out to you to go over your design selections, and that's when the fun begins! Our turnaround for every project we receive is about 6 months, depending on the wedding season.
What can I expect from my resin piece? Will it amber over time?
All epoxy will yellow to a degree overtime; however, our casting resins have UV inhibitors in them that will delay the change in color. We recommend not displaying them in direct sunlight.
Consider adding a Pressed (Frame) piece to your collection!
Do you offer layout options for the floral blocks?
Yes! Just as our framed pieces, we want to be able to design these with you! You will get a form with questions regarding the layout options about 2-3 months after your event, when your flowers are completely dried. We will discuss all the design options with you at your consultation
What flowers look best in floral blocks?
Most flowers preserve very consistent! Some of our favorites: roses, ranunculus, tulips, peonies, stock, orchids (we LOVE how stock preserves this way), hellebore, etc.
*Succulents/cacti change quite drastically; however, we are the only company that can add these to your pieces!
What is the process like for pressed pieces?
When we receive your flowers, we spend about 3-4 hours inspecting s and pressing the flowers that look the best. We press petal by petal, and use up to 7 different preservation methods on each bouquet depending on the flowers and greenery.
The flowers will dry from the presses in about 2-3 months, depending on each bloom. After we carefully take them out of the presses, we inspect them again and keep the ones that pressed consistently. We then offer a 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your design options: design, background colors, framing options and any upgrades or add-ons. This is the perfect time to talk about your preferences, your home décor, etc.
After the design consultation, your flowers undergo our proprietary Flower Restoration™ processes, where every petal and leaf is treated so they look as close as possible to the way they looked on your wedding day! This process can take up to 30 hours, depending on the size and complexity of your order
Each piece is then treated, sealed and framed in our hand-crafted frames in-house. Both of these processes combined can take up to three hours, depending on the size of each project! The average amount of hours to create each piece is about 30 hours from beginning to end.
What if I want to add a Press-3D™ piece or a Floral Block after you have pressed my flowers?
Unfortunately, if you want the 3D look, we won't be able to do it with your flowers, as at this point, your flowers will be pressing (flowers for Press-3D™ or Floral Blocks are not pressed).
We are, however, able to make a resin or Press-3D™ piece using some elements of your pressed flowers and flowers from inventory (fees apply).
Is UltraVue ® or Museum Glass ® worth the investment?
Yes! We are excited to introduce two options - both are UV, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant glass that helps the color clarity and image visibility. The biggest difference between both is the UV protection. Please see below for features and applications.
OPTION 1: UltraVue® UV 70%:

- Filters up to 70% of UV rays
- Light transmission brighten colors
Applications
- Items that will be displayed in controlled light environment to limit UV exposure

OPTION 2 (RECOMMENDED): Museum Glass® UV 99% :

How long will my pressed artwork last?
Every Classic Framed piece's temperature is regulated by 80% and are sealed so that humidity and little bugs don't get inside the piece. As long as you treat your piece with care, it should be with you for years and years to come!
Our matboards are 100% Alpha-Cellulose, Acid-Free and Lignin-Free Surface, Core and Backing. 4Ply matboard that is conservation quality acid and lignin free helps protect your art work.
Please note that Floating Frames can't be sealed and protected like the Classic Frame pieces due to the glass on glass look.
A few tips to enjoy your pressed flowers forever:
- Place your piece away from direct sunlight and in dry places (avoid bathrooms where the piece may be exposed to a lot of humidity).
- Although our Flower Restoration™ processes and sealants help preserve the color of your flowers overtime, keep in mind that your piece once had real, living flowers. Expect your flowers to change colors slightly, just like any original painting would after years!
Can you press any flower?
YES! We are proud to be one of the only companies that can work with any flora.
Succulents/cacti can be pressed for an additional fee.
Pro-tip: Ask your florist not to spray your flowers with preservatives if possible. Natural flowers work best!

How do I select the best size for my bouquet?
There are different factors to consider, but it will all come down to your personal preference. The overall look of your bouquet, design choice, and space can factor in the size you decide on.
We always suggest to start with a small size if you are unsure, and upgrade or add-on later.
Call or text us at (833) 426-3732 for a free consultation!
I’m not sure which design to pick. What are my options?
We have many design options to choose from that are included in your initial rate, which include classic options such as designs with flowers only, flowers and bouquet ribbon, and bouquet recreation (flowers with stems included). Dress/silhouette, and other design options have additional fees starting at $100 for pressed pieces.
There are no limits as far as creativity. We've turned bouquets anywhere from the Dallas Skyline to Disney Castle!
We will be able to schedule a design consultation with you, three months after receiving your flowers. We cannot wait to help you choose the right design for your preservation!
Am I able to add anything to my piece?
Yes! You can add your wedding invitation, ribbon- even a wedding photo! We recommend the 11x14 piece size if you want to add an invitation or a picture; this will allow us to have space available to showcase your pressed flowers. Let us know what you have in mind and we can figure something out together.
You can also order smaller pieces of art for an additional cost. We offer 5x5 and 5x7 pieces that are perfect for Thank You gifts or displaying on a bedroom nightstand or in your office!
If you want to add charms, macrame, pearls, etc, they need to be no more than 1/8” - 1/4” thick. Please note that a double matted frame will be required and these elements. Once we go over your design selections, we will let you know what your options are.
What if I change my mind about the size I ordered?
You can upgrade the size of your order as long as you do so before we receive your flowers for preservation. This way we can be sure to preserve the amount of flowers we need for your piece. After you initial order, any size changes or add-ons are subject to new pricing.
We do not allow downgrading once the downpayment is made.
What if my bouquet is all white?
A big number of bridal bouquets are all-white flowers - and we love to work with them!
Keep in mind that white flowers will not preserve crisp white. An ivory hue is very common, even after he color restoration is done.
We recommend a darker background to add some contrast to your white flowers! We will review all of this at your design consultation.
