FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why should I press my bouquet?
If you’re looking to have fresh flowers at your wedding, pressing your bouquet is something to consider in order to extend the life of your flowers. As you know, flowers can be quite an investment so we recommend to add a pressed piece to your floral budget so you can enjoy your very own bouquet for years to come.
How far in advance should I book my bouquet?
We only accept up to 15 bouquets per week as it takes time to press each one carefully. Therefore, booking in advance is strongly recommended.
It is recommended that you book as soon as you have a wedding date and half (or a fourth) of the payment available. Booking ahead of time will also freeze your price in case we experience any price changes. It's never too early to book!
I want to book my spot! How much does it cost?
Pricing depends the size of your piece. Our bridal bouquets start at $649.99 for an 8x8 sealed and framed piece. The best part is that you don’t have to pay your total at once. Only 25% down payment is required to book!
Remember that your design choices (flowers, flowers + ribbons, flowers + invitation, flowers + stems) does not affect the cost of your piece! You are welcome to add your bouquet ribbon, photos or invitation to your piece (must be flat).
Additional costs to consider are shipping and any additional pieces or upgrades you would like to order. These extras are optional.
What size do you recommend?
This depends on a variety of factors, mostly personal preference. Consider the amount of wall space you have available.
Another thing to consider is your design of choice. If you would like to include your wedding invitation in your piece, we recommend you select an 11x14 piece or larger.
I’m not sure which design to pick. What are my options?
We have plenty of bridal designs to choose from! A few of our classic options include designs with: flowers only, flowers & the bouquet ribbon, bouquet recreation (flowers with stems included) are all the same price. Dress/silhouette, and other design options have an upcharge of $60 or more.
There are no limits as far as creativity. We can always do something different! Past bouquets have ranged from a Dallas Skyline to a Hogwarts Castle! Let’s work together to create a piece unique to you and your marriage.
Am I able to add anything to my piece?
Yes! Feel free to add your wedding invitation, ribbon, even a wedding photo! 11x14 is the recommended size if you want to add an invitation or a picture; this will allow us to have plenty of space available to showcase your pressed flowers. Let us know what you have in mind and we can figure something out together. Need inspiration? Check out some of our previous work!
You can also order smaller pieces of art for an additional cost. We offer 5x5 and 5x7 pieces that are perfect for sending out as Thank You gifts or displaying on a bedroom nightstand or in your office!
What are my frame options?
It’s important to know that because your piece REQUIRES a frame for its’ own protection, we only offer framed and sealed pieces.
We have a variety of options for you! You can choose from 10 different frame colors/finishes. We recommend matted frames as it will make your piece stand out more and appear bigger.
What if I change my mind about the size I ordered?
I’m out of state. Can you still press my bouquet?
Yes! Many of our bouquets come from outside of Texas. As long as you’re located in one of the lower 48 states, we can help.
We will send out care + shipping instructions along with your down payment’s invoice.
When should I ship/bring you my bouquet?
If you are shipping, we will need you to overnight your flowers to us the Monday after your wedding so that we can receive them by Tuesday and start pressing. No exceptions.
If you are in the Dallas area you may drop off your flowers on Monday. We will reach out to you to schedule a drop-off time.
Your flowers should be no more than 4 days old when we receive them. Otherwise, we will not be able to work with them.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
When will my piece be ready?
None of this process should be rushed. We can’t wait for you to see your artwork but we also want to present you with the most beautiful piece possible. We highly appreciate your patience throughout this process.
How long will my pressed artwork last?
A few tips to enjoy your pressed flowers forever:
- Although our color enhancing techniques and sealants help preserve the natural color of your flowers overtime, keep in mind that your piece once had real, living flowers. Expect your flowers to change colors and remember, this is natural.
What can I expect from my artwork down the road?
I still have my wedding bouquet from several years ago. Is there anything you can do with it?
Unfortunately, we currently only accept flowers that are no more than 4 days old. We do however, offer recreations! Contact us for more information.
I would love to give this as a gift to a loved one that is getting married. How do I do this?
A pressed flower piece would be such a thoughtful gift, one that your loved one will be sure to cherish for years to come. We can walk you through the process or we can issue a gift certificate and have the bride and groom handle all of the details to their liking. Please fill out our BOOK NOW form so we can get back to you with availability and walk you through the process.
Can you press any flower?
We will certainly try to press every flower and piece of greenery in your bouquet. We will even take flowers apart if we think it will help them press better. However, not all flowers will make it through the pressing process and this is natural. Thicker flowers tend to retain a lot of moisture which can result in molding. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to press each type of flower beautifully. What we can guarantee is that we will do our best to prepare the flower for pressing and do our best to rebuild a flower that had a hard time in our presses.
What are the best flowers to press?
Pro-tip: Another thing to keep in mind is that white flowers are more likely to turn brown in the presses. Ask your florist to keep from spraying your flowers with preservatives or other sprays if possible. Natural flowers work best!
