THE UGLY TRUTH: If there’s something I’ve learned from creating commissioned art and publicly posting it online, is that BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. While a bride may love a piece, we’ll get a comment saying “UGLY!!”… and as much as I hate to admit this, there have been instances where our online audience adores a piece but the bride simply does not (one of which is shown here).
To our current and future customers: please make sure to study our work before commissioning any of our art. Please also explore what’s out there and compare what you see when doing so. Work with a company that is aligned with what you want (style, art interpretation, presentation, techniques, values, etc). But please also know this: no floral preservation is perfect nor it will ever be, why? Because we are preserving something that was alive, cut for days if not weeks before the event day, and left without water for hours (whether the day of, while in transit, etc). Everything we do at DBANDREA is handmade, including putting your frames together. Our work will never be flawless, in fact, if you’re looking for a flawless piece, you will likely be disappointed.
Please know we will try our best to make you the happiest, although when it comes to the actual artistry always keep in mind that art is subjective, and therefore, an artistic interpretation. Please understand there are no refunds or returns based on a subjected refusal of a finished piece (as stated in our Terms and Conditions).
Up to 30 hours of love and care go into every single piece we produce. And that’s because we try to make your pieces as beautiful as possible as we want you to be proud of them, and love them, as much as we do!
